The standard we build to, what we test, and how to report a problem with this site.
What we build to.
We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA on this site and on every site we build. In practice that means semantic structure, real labels on form fields, alt text on images that carry meaning, visible focus indicators, keyboard access to everything, color contrast checked rather than assumed, and respect for reduced-motion settings.
What we don't do.
We don't install accessibility overlay widgets. They don't reliably fix underlying problems and can make things worse for people using screen readers. We fix the code instead.
Where we're honest about the limits.
Testing reduces risk. It doesn't eliminate it. Accessibility also isn't a one-time state, because every content change can introduce a new issue, which is why it gets re-checked when pages change. We're not attorneys and this isn't legal advice.
